The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

What happened to the Cloudmont summit????

We will be with all the Floridiots on Prez Wknd (wife is a teacher so you take the days off when you can) at Beech and Sugar.

Will try to get to Cat on that Sunday if I can -- that would probably be the best for me.

I like the way you put that Teledave! lol. Well I guess the family and I will be skiing with the "Southeastern Skiiers" on Pres. weekend. We will arrive at Sugar on Sat. and Ski on Sunday. I will try my best not to plow any lovely people down as I maneuver through the crowds of people. I swear if I see someone skiing in blue jeans or walking across the parking lot in skiis I might bust up laughing..

I saw this southeastern skier a week ago. I kid you not, leather bomber jacket and a dress shirt with button-down collar. I wasn't close enough to see the pants but I would bet they were dockers or similar.

I used to dress my kids in my father's hunting clothes to go skiing. They were always taking off their camouflage coats saying "we're not cold". We'd all be dressed out in my father's hunting boots, hats, wool socks, probably a few flourescent pieces. I'm sure all you NC skiers were posting like crazy, laughin' it up! lol
