The weathermen in Birmingham are a little off center. They do a good job, but the one that works for the NBC affiliate gets a little carried away. If there is lightning within 150 miles and headed in this direction they preempt all the TV shows to talk about the weather. It's raining, big deal... But bring on the snow, I don't care how much they want to talk about it, just bring it on.

It's 31 degrees in Pinson, northeast Birmingham, all we need now is the moisture. Muscle Shoals should be seeing the snow start anytime. All I want is to see a few flakes fly, if they do I will get pics and let you all see. Just for proof that it does actually snow in Alabama.

When your neighbors see you in the full tuck going through their yards, then they will KNOW you are crazy.

Then I guess when I run the x-ctry trail through your yard you will understand what's going on. You going to be out directing traffic tomorrow when everyone goes nuts trying to drive through the snow???

Looking at the radar and a large mass of moisture just entered the west side of the state, can't be long now. Right now it is still very dry outside, stars are still shinning. I don't know what is worse, that we only get this little bit of snow or that we get this excited about it when we do get it.

I just got back to Pell City. Temp here is 30 degrees and absolutely no wind. There is also not the first cloud in the sky. Is it possible that all of the grocery stores in the area paid the weather guys on TV some money just to increase sales of bread and milk?

No traffic directing for me. I'll be snuggled up to SkiNC in the comforts of my office. It sounds like a good day to watch some ski porn on the DVD. I picked up "The Hit Men" today at ASC. I hope it doesn't disappoint. It came highly recommended by a board bunny that I would highly recommend. :D

No snow here as of yet. The temp. is 30.6 so we may get some stickage. Come on snow.

Looking outside the stars are gone, overcast skies and the radar would agree that it is getting closer.
