True Story:

After a night of hard drinking at the local pool hall (my gf and I had broken up after 4 years together, so my buddies took me out), I realize that i left my famous and lucky Kavu visor at the bar. So, we leave the bar we are at and head back to the pool hall. Of course, we are on the strip (for you UT folks) and its crawling with police. I'm not driving, but my buddy was...he wasn't the most sober person in the world. The lights come on behind us, of course, so we pull over.

Officer: Do you know why I pulled you over?

My buddy: Well, probably because I've had too much to drink.

Officer: (Surprised) That may be, but I pulled you over b/c your taillights are out.

I got to spend awhile in the back of the crusier while my buddy walked the line, etc... Not arrest were made, but needless to say we ended the night right there. The next weekend we went back to the pool hall, where lo and behold, they remembered me and my visor! And they saved it for me!

That is the dumbest response I have ever heard.

try sitting in the car next to somebody when they say that.

Could've killed him.
