The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard
The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.
We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.
We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Hey guys. God has really blessed us with some great conditions! Last Sunday at Hawksnest was probably my most fun day of riding in our mountains. It truly was a powder day by our standards! I hope it happens again this Sunday. Just wanted to let everyone know the slope-side church services are going great! If you haven't heard about it, it's a non-denominational Christian service that meets each Sunday at 2:00 near the third tower from the bottom of the blue lift at Hawksnest. We'd love to see you there!! Pray for snow!!!!!!!!!!!

It was great to see some new faces (as well as regular ones) at the service last week. It got really windy about that time, so we were all huddled together in a circle trying to carry on like normal. But wow, what a snow day! God is good! Just FYI, in the future, when the weather is really rough we'll try to have the service inside the lodge somewhere. We'll have someone down at the regular spot to direct folks to the proper place in the lodge if we do that. Hope to see you there!

VERY cool- copper does that too. after last nite, i could use some churchin' up, but i can't wait that long. we really DO have alot to be thankful for- snow, nature, and our abilities to max 'em all out by going big. it is a blessing that God allows me to enjoy rippin' it as much as i do. EPIC- every person in Christ, has a great surf ministry in jax. why not on snow?

Thanks for the encouragement folks! It really does mean a lot to me, and I appreciate everyone's opinion and that they've been conveyed in respectful ways. Hopefully we'll see you on the slopes! Pray for snow!!

What another great day Sunday! Beautiful blue sky, no wind and pretty great snow made for an awesome day. God blessed us with 18 folks on Sunday! Thanks to everyone for coming out. I pray that you were blessed in some way. I hope everyone has a great week, and maybe we'll see you out at the Nest next Sunday! (but please don't think I want you to miss your regular worship service to come to the slope-side service, but if we see you there that'll be great too )
caught the tail end of the service this week...
thought it was very cool, you took time from your day for this.
Thanks for the pin.
