The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

First, let me thank you for spending time with us at Seven Springs. You are a very important part of what makes Seven Springs great and because of that, I am writing you today to share some good news!

If you are not already aware, Seven Springs is in the process of pursuing a gaming license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. While our decision to add a slots venue here at the resort is part of our continuing desire to enhance your time on the mountain and to continue to provide visitors with a wide variety of recreational and entertainment amenities, we also see Seven Springs playing a key role in reducing property taxes for millions of Pennsylvania property owners. Moreover, because we are host to 1.2 million guests and visitors annually, we strongly view Seven Springs as a natural place to generate revenue for the Commonwealth by way of one of its gaming facilities.

We also believe gaming at Seven Springs will significantly boost our role as the major economic engine for our region. It will enable us to increase the number of family-sustaining jobs we provide to those living in our surrounding communities, continue to grow the local economy, and provide our guests and visitors with yet another reason to come to Seven Springs and enjoy all that we have to offer.

Sustaining our competitive level in the hospitality industry is also a key consideration. Being awarded a gaming license will enable us to continue to compete with gaming resorts in West Virginia as well as with additional slots venues anticipated in the Pittsburgh area.

As you know, we tremendously value and are proud of our reputation as a family resort destination. Please be fully assured that Seven Springs will integrate this amenity into our existing facilities in a manner that continues to emphasize our whole-hearted commitment to family. Our gaming facility will be properly isolated from family areas, and we intend to spare no expense on security. We want families to continue to have a place to come and relax in the mountains together for many generations to come.

We hope you agree with us that Slots at Seven Springs Make Sense. Your continued support with this effort, will help us to preserve the long-term future and viability of Seven Springs as the premier year-round destination that it is. Please know that your opinion is valuable to us. If you have any questions or concerns regarding gaming at Seven Springs, please don't hesitate to send your comments via email to [email protected].
