The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

arghhhhhhhhhhh I was there yesterday. I think I am getting sick may have to stay home tomorrow. Do they night ski on OZ?

Yes, they do. Slop typically cuts off at about 9:30 or so, so it will clear and folks can ride up for the front side sweep.

TNken...do u think oz will remain open until this weekend? cuz if thats the case...i'll totally be there this weekend

I can't imagine that it wouldn't hold until the weekend. That was the reason for the big push to get it open. They have been making a ton of snow back there. I'll try to get some more info tomorrow night.

yep... it was open today... personally it was a let down.... very wide... but no pitch... :cry:



At least I was able to see the old gates of the OZ theme park.....



There is a crap-pot of snow back there... I was waiting in line for the lift and my foot sunk a least a foot into the snow... since the lift area wasn't packed down

I'm with you Mellow, personally I've never been able to figure out what all these people see in the OZ run. It's flat and the lift is slow.

And it can be windy as he|| back there. Its kinda nice because it dispereses the crowds a bit though.
