The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

'your not missing anything trust me. ive been down there, and its not worth it. maybe once to say you have done it. the real summit will be on the front of the mtn, and in the lower or upper lot where eva the cochces are.

days inn asheville, and cat. thats where teh summit is. not oz run.

oz and its painfully slow lift were back open today

Took the kids up to Beech this past Tue. night. They loved it. Almost no one there. Southern Star wore me out. Quad lift was down for almost 30 min. Glad we were not on it.

hey firefighter did it close down during the day on thurs because i was up there thurs night and it was closed.

The quad lift quit AGAIN!??! I wonder how many times there have been lift evacs at Beech. That quad has broken down several times this year.

Everyone always rags on the lifts at sugar.



They should on the lifts at beech, theyre not int he best of shape, or so it appears :roll:

From looking at the picture on the front page of Oz, youd have to straightline it just to make it down the thing.

so true. It is the most overrated run in the SE. It is so flat.
