The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

We arrived at Sugar..heh..it looked like total chaos everywhere. I think all my neighbors are all here! Every other license plate says Florida or Georgia. We were driving here giving every consideration to the NC drivers and some girl passing us on the highway gives us the finger. We said, its a good thing the oldest is asleep, something like that would give him every reason to do something crazy. It was a two lane highway, no traffic, we were not holding her up, stayed to the right. I guess she is just totally annoyed with everyone with a FL license tag, I dunno. It's so dang cold! We have never seen so many people at a resort before. Unreal. My son brought my laptop to play games..so I was just stopping in to say hello...be kind to the FLORIDA PEOPLE!! We have skis and cars with no snow tires aka armed and dangerous. lol.

Mellow, those boots look similar to the ones offered on Steep and cheap today. Do yours hinge for hiking?

and the cops show up.

I've got some pretty good personal police encounter stories, in college I was always the designated "go talk to the cops" person.
