It's not often the Blue Ridge Parkway gets enough snow to make turns withouth ruining your bases or edges. Last week's cold snow, and Saturday's extra shot of a few inches, made that possible.
Late on Sunday we parked at Balsam Gap.
The dog can not quite be trusted on the loose, especially she made a run for freedom here not even two months ago. Leashing her harnesses her energy, too.
Mrs. Porter makes a turn.
Ok, we decide just this once to let her off.
Sun sets in a blaze. Cold, nice night.
