The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Hold on, I'm gonna go get me some popcorn for this saga.

Seriously, everybody has some valid points if you would zip your pants back up and quit comparing.

Good to have you here, SAR-ANGEL & CatPatrol. I think you'll enjoy it once you get used to us.

Actually I'm a frequent reader of the blogs just rarely comment. I'll just add one more thing, Because a skier out at Cat is wearing a cross does not mean they are yet a full patroller. Some are still candidates who have passed their outdoor emergency care portion of their training but still have to pass their ski and toboggan. Because of the commitment level required we have found it hard to always find the best skiers/ boarders to bring onto patrols, so sometimes we need to train/teach them to improve their abilities on the slopes. Now I think I've beaten this dead horse.
