The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

with all the work going on up at the top, I hope GUnit takes the time to grade the off load area at top of Northridge so its not an uphill skate to drop in.

According to pictures on their website, it looks like the new unloading station is on up the hill compared to the old one. So they'll have to grade it out and hopefully eliminate the strain on my groin from skating in the dark.

You might be right. Look at this image. The foundation looks much further up the hill.

If I can just coast right off the lift and not have to skate over to the top of Whoop or Northridge that would be amazing.

Great pic KD! Will they let you roam the mountain right now for a hike to check it out or are they trying to keep people off the hill during the construction?

That dude seriously looks like one of the guys who operated the lifts for Sugar the last time I went

Sugar's summit cam was working today. Look how far up the hill the new terminal is! No more pushing off to get to the top of the slope!
