The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Hey TD when you get back from your trip....I see Guthries is about to open up a location in Knoxvegas. (Zues also)

Already open, directly across the street from Zaxbys.

I prefer guthries.... I've been to Zaxby's once, guthries three or four times....

That is all they do. The more appropriate question would be about the sauce. The dipping sauce is what makes it. The guy that started Zaxby's used to work/manage a Guthrie's and "stole" the secret sauce and started up the new restaurant Zaxbys. Guthries has a limited menu--so that is what they specialize in. They have chicken fingers and a chicken sandwich and sides are slaw and french fries. A few locations have breakfast and salads but not the original location next door to me.

They are also open to 3am, which is important here in a college town.

IMO, Zaxby's>Guthries's.

Plus, the people that run the Guthrie's in RBC are complete asshats. They sold us some raw chicken (drive thru) and we had to carry it back for some that was cooked. They gave us coupons for 2 free dinners, but when I tried to redeem them a few weeks later they said they were no longer accepting the coupons. I told them to kiss my arse.
