I had two days left on my Aspen Classic Pass, so the wife and I headed down to Aspen for the second time (for me at least) in the last three weekends. We skied Highlands on Friday and Snowmass on Saturday. I didn't take the camera out much because:
1- When I was skiing the good stuff, I was by myself for the most part.
b- We skied a lot of groomers and those don't make for great pictures.

Sarah skiing Sneaky's in the Big Burn area:
A little higher on the same run, overlooking Mt. Garrett:
Heading down Naked Lady towards the end of the day:
Oh, and don't duck ropes.
The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard
The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.
We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.
We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Well.... I was skiing down between the Temerity terrain and Highland Bowl, not really knowing where the hell I was. I saw two patrol go under a rope from where I was into some more open terrain- so I followed them. That was my mistake. Despite the terrain I went into being open, they don't want anyone ducking ropes anywhere- not really how it works at the Front Range resorts.
Well, when I got about 2/3 of the way down the bowl, one of the guys was waiting for me- and he took my pass. I got a personal escort down the mountain and had to wait til the end of the day to get it back.... nice guys and they were just doing their job, but damn that sucked.
