Not nowhere near as good as the Nikkor version, but it was $300 not $1,300. The 10-20 has a really good rep too for an affordable lens. With any Sigma lens I was suggest buying one in a store, not online. Sigma quality control is not the best, and the copies of the lenses seem to vary a lot. It could take a few exchanges before you got a good one....especially if your luck is like mine.
I'm looking for something with a wider field of view than the 24-70mm (more like 35-100 on a full frame) for shots similar in style to ones KneeDeep has in this thread.
I've heard that about Sigma's quality control and even seen examples. What you know about this KneeDeep guy? Would he sell me crap?

I'll sell you crap if you'll buy it.
I haven't taken many photos with the 10-20 yet.... just the ones I've posted here (and a few more from that day). I'll try to take it out this weekend and see if I can get more, but so far I'm happy. Like I said, the reviews were great and for the price you can't go wrong.

Wasn't suggesting that you buy a 24-70...just giving my opinion on a Sigma product with which I had experience.
