The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Wow I chose a terrible day to drive up to Beech. Only stayed two and a half hours before myself and carvebeast realized we had to get off the mountain before we got stuck. Took me four and a half hours to get back to Charlotte and it usually only takes two and a half. Wish I could have stayed though as the snow was awesome and there were still plenty of rollers to play around on. They had the guns going but they were confined to Robbins Run (which should be open in the next few days I'm guessing) and Freestyle for the most part.

this is when we left as some fat flakes were coming down hard

If anyone can get out there tomorrow it should be pretty epic. I'll be back Monday and like I said I'm hoping Robbins will be open. It is definitely looking nice out there and I'm definitely digging the new vibe this year.

It really does seem like a great vibe there this season, huh? I really enjoyed my day on Wednesday and glad to see someone else noticed that they really are turning over a new leaf.

kenny, i am alive. clocking in at just under 8 hours of driving back to raleigh, completely bald tires, and dozens of near accidents. it is an act of god that i made it home unscathed.

it was worth it.

Dude Tom I just turned on my phone a bit ago and got your text. That is nuts man. I made it back a little after 4 and 321 was pretty bad too. It's amazing to be driving in a a snow storm and see dumb asses talking on their cell phones driving with one hand and continually changing lanes in front of people. Going back to Beech on Monday and Wednesday though let me know your plans jigga.
