The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Ah yes the P4's; I'm going to start another thread but short story is I will be selling them --

to elaborate: they were spectacular in powder but were not as good for me as many found them in lesser conditions. They turned pretty well and could obviously power through crud but out of powder I had strange difficulty in keeping good separation at the tips -- combination of lack of strength, an old school, tighter stance, and I think also my ****** boots that have to much slop.

Anyway I can't justify owning a pure powder ski -- the fattest thing I've been on before was a Mantra and that's as wide as I need to go. I-m going to sell them for $425 w/ the binding and $275 w/out (they got a thorough tuning when the new bindings were mounted)

You're going to have a tough time selling them for that much- which bindings did you put on them again?

Those skis aren't meant to be do-it-all skis... they suffice on hardpack, but are supposed to be powder and soft snow skis.

WHOA -- I completely screwed up that pricing --

at first I read your post and thought damn what the hell is KD's problem, crapping on my price

But I remembered paying $250 for the skis when actually they were $150

--so I'll ask $175 for the skis (due to the tuning) and $375 with the bindings which are new Rossi SAS120 with wide brakes and the original mid-width brakes included

^^^ You're better off keeping the bindings for your next pair of skis. They're around $150-175 everywhere, and that's new.

But at that price, the skis should go fairly quick I would think.

idk, that's their 2nd mount which is sometimes the kiss of death, but still those are popular skis. as i remember you got a pretty good deal on the bindings and mounting, so I'd offer them with and without the bindings.

anyway, kudos on getting up there on Friday. No way I could have screwed work, but mon-thursday were awfully good also.
