I'm not saying it's BS (everybody can be wrong, right?) but I find it hard to think as much time as I've spent up there I've never seen it. Are we talking about the top of the Oz Run? Do people ski or ride through it?
Fill me in, it would be an interesting tidbit to learn about Beech that I didn't know.
You are no fun.

Sorry, I need to remember this is supposed to be for fun, not an argument. Thanks for the reality check! Still a newbie, but I'll learn....

Man one joke about the OZ tunnel gets some attention. I'm heading up to Beech this weekend, I'll see if I can find the real OZ tunnel.

You da' man; if you can't find it nobody can.
Nice TR -- I want to hit Wolf during one of these storms I still have not been there, and I may be in waynesville area a few days this month
As far as the tunnel goes -- it is not that hard folks they just don't have it open very often, when it is just stay to skier's left, you won't miss it

Even the 3 to 4 inches of powder this weekend was enough to make the upper runs at Wolf su-weet. They had Way Out and Flame Out roped off but...
We thought the ice and freezing rain forecast would ruin everything but the snow that fell after was fluffy and made the ungroomed runs worth the trip.
Appy got 14"? Madness!!!

Is it up at the top near the bridge over the road? Or further down the slope?

I second that. It was really crowded though.

went to the wolf this morning. good but not great, fair amount of icy spots. went down the bowl for the first time. i could see that being fun with better snow or a little warmer temperatures but today it was not that great IMO. did mostly laps on powder hill to whistling dixie.
