The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Took the other SkiNCers into Honeycomb to start the day, snow in certain spots was ok, top of Honeycomb was skiing nice but bottom was kind of chunder-ish. Left the others to hit up the BC.

Naturally I had to create a trademark EC route graphic, a lot going on here:

Green skintrack from Honeycomb is me- went out the Soli gates, into twin lakes pass, then up the ridge. Cyan skintrack is skiing rules- he came from Alta base. My skiing track is in blue, his is in red- we both skied north facing trees and met up about halfway down, then skied the gully out to the skintrack. North facing snow is still $$. Took the skinner (green again) up to the flat below the east face, up to the top, first run down was north facing open field, second run down was north facing trees. Snow still money. I skied some great trees getting out of Silver Fork, which feeds all the way to Soli base, skiing rules went back to Alta.

I did get one pic of skiing rules, right before he jumped off that little pillow:

Now on to the EC show, where EC gets back into photo$lut form in north facing trees:

Mad props to skiing rules- turns out he's a pretty good ski photog in his own right...

More BC tomorrow, hopefully the snow holds up.

awesome day-- waay better than our last UT tour.

That pillow drop I took ended in a yardsale, but still was fun. We scouted some good areas for tomorrow too, so it was a great day.

Nice pics, that last one should sneak into KD's calendar.

Nice shots- good to see you're making something out of nothing (at least in the snow category).

You know what's scary? I went skiing today and was wearing the EXACT same thing. Brown pants, bright blue jacket, white helmet, white mirrored goggles. Pretty crazy.
