The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

I've got some time off work. Conditions looked favorable .I went riding .Never in 100 years would I have thought that I could go to Snowshoe on the day after Christmas in 35 degree sunny weather and have conditions like this at about noon when I arrived in the basin.

Gandy

Spruce

After the first run .My jaw dropped when I rode straight up to the Powdermonkey lift..

Heck lets try ball hooter .? Not bad only a few minutes .No complaints here .A couple hours of really fun riding. The snow was chewed up a little more in the northern track area(seemed like all the vacationers were over there) but really fun rollers + side hits still showing up in the middle of the basin.

Lower ballhooter looking really close to getting open!

As well there's good progress on the upper flume coming down from the top of the world parking lot. Props again snow making crew!

Might not be much riding tomorrow but the few days after that look promising.Fingers/toes /heart all crossed.

amazing lift lines for holiday, shorter then regular midweek

The weather coming up seems to be hanging in the balance between snow and rain -- all you need is one or two degrees and it could be amazing

may it be so

(but not the kind of weather that you will be poaching any landfills, I guess or any trees for a little bit)
