The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Finally got to go see the Rockies in the summertime. We went to Breckenridge for a few days and Pikes Peak before returning for a 5 day conference in Denver at the Colorado Convention Center Downtown.

I will be adding several pics over the next several days

Breck rainbow

Friendly fox at the condo

View from the Hearthstone Restaurant. The planted flowers were amazing. Wildflower pics coming up.

Blue River sunset downtown Breck

Breck sunset from The Dredge

Abasin and Pali

more pics to come....better get back to work. Gonna do some work to the wildflower pics before posting.

I am a looser though. I said I would mountain bike (really just riding downhill after riding the lift up), but ran out of time. Maybe next time.

It's more fun if you ride up, too. :)

That's right. Last year I did snow-biking, and it was real fun. My spouse was also with me.

Idaho Springs is busier in the summer than winter.

Wildflower pics

Base of Horseshoe Bowl- The pictures don't do the place justice, you are surrounded by thousands of wildflowers but the mountains are so majestic that you loose these tiny little flowers because of the scale of the place. Kneedeep does an excellent job with wildflower (really all) pictures.

One of my favorite pics looking northeast, wildflowers in the forground and the Blue River Valley and continental divide in the background.

Horseshoe Bowl in Summer

Baldy and Breckenridge in the valley

Fox located above the Rocky Mountain chair

Being "in" a lightning storm at 11,000ft with lightning around you and below you = not fun.

Shelter was provided in the Vista Haus.

next project, upload the pictures from Pikes Peak.................
