My Son, 13 yrs old has (had) 2 baby teeth that had not come out yet. 1 had pushed back behind the adult one and one is probably an extranumiary tooth in his gum line. Baby, no roots. I had been working on the tooth behind his #9 and it was pretty loose. The shape of it made it hard to get a hold of. Being a contractor by trade, i know how to save a dollar.

SO i gave it to tyler straight. "Son, you have a dentists appt tomorrow. Dr Colins said last time he was gonna pull that tooth if it wasnt out by the next appt." (Read $200 tip from other thread)

"So if you let me pull it, ill give you $10 for your pocket. If the dentist pulls it, its gona cost me and it might hurt." I said, "you know how he likes to hurt kids" and smiled.

He agreed but the rules were, " If I start bleeding you gotta quit"

My rule "NO Biting!"

So I began to push and pull and tried to grab his tooth. No avail. "does it hurt?" I asked. " No" It moved well , only attatched a little. So I, being the contractor, grabbed my needle nose pliers and started washing them as his eyes got huge. "I said till i made u bleed" I told him as I approached the 4 ft stool, centered under the light in the kitchen. Feeling like a german in a Diehard movie, I said, "This might hurt". He said "$10 Right"

Yes I said.

Well,

I Got ahold to the tooth, and the boy could tell. I had him. Asked, "Are you ready?" Just as he answered, I jerked down hard and out it came in the papertowel i had clasped in the pliers. He bled, I quit.

I told him " Now you can tell your kids how your dad used to pull your teeth out with pliers"
"You mean there is Two of them??"
"it's about 10 very heavy inches. I can drive it but it sure will be slow"

HAHAHA

I pulled my own teeth with pliers just to keep my dad from getting to em first. ;) if he thought anyone in the family was just starting to lose a tooth, he was grabbing pliers.
