Get it while ya can, I know I have been. It seems that Sugar might be open later than Beech judging strictly off a base comparison, so I've been getting to Beech as much as possible. I talked to two mountain employees at beech today that both dropped 3/19 as the target date for closing, and both mentioned that the snow making hoses are hung up until next season. They are likely to need some help from the weather to get to the 19th. That said, there is still plenty of snow in most spots, with a couple places getting brown and thin. The park has not changed since wed night, with no 3rd rail being setup as of 4:30pm. I guess they are going to build it tonight. Go get out there folks, lots of fun today, was completely worth sneaking in 2 hours. Lots of riding planned for the weekend, stay tuned.

The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard
The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.
