Day 1: Soli
Snow was very crusty early until it started dumping for about an hour around noon. Honeycomb was pretty nice.

This zone in Honeycomb was very fun until patrol closed the gates right when it started getting good.
Day 2: Alta
The weather was perfect, the snow was good, the skiing was muy excelente!
Rustler, I believe
Looking from East Greeley to Grizzly(?)
Lapped this zone in East Greeley about 6 times.
Day 3: Snowbasin
It was snaining at the base and PUKING up top. North facing aspects were $$$$, everything else had a death crust under the new snow. A lot of footy from Snowbasin in Pt. 2 pov edit.

The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

nice tr, looks like you got some decent snow later in the trip. sucks they closed honeycomb on you, they seem to be pretty strict about it when its dumping. i miss utah.
on a side note, pov videos bore me to death. unless you are doing something seriously gnarly, they are only fun to watch for the person who made them (and i am completely guilty of making them when i surf, i dont even bother bringing mine to the snow b/c no one wants to see my line down beech frikin mtn.) and the other problem, even when you are doing something crazy the pov never does it justice. the only real upside is not having to dedicate someone to film, which is definitely a major plus. like i said, i use a gopro from time to time too so i understand the allure of them, i just hope we don't completely move away from classic filming methods altogether b/c that would suck (we being amateur skiers/riders, i know it will never go away for bigtime productions).

I agree with this, and honestly I don't even like bringing out the Gopro. Its more just for memory's sake or if the conditions are epic.
