The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

Typical summertime upwelling on the Outer Banks carvebeast. H20 temps were in the upper 70's and dipped to the lo- mid 60's after it blew southwest at 15-20 + for a day. The upwelling is way worse in town .. Currently 57

sounds about right, unfortunately i havent made it out there in at least a year or so...i remember last time i was there though i was in a 4/3 and booties at the end of may/beginning of june:eek:

Once the wind turns onshore the water usually warms right back up though. Check out this honor S Turns received..

So did you actually ride that asphalt or No? Hey thats the lot across 70 and up from Alpine isnt it.

i usually just put up scenic pictures and claim it hard.



but seriously, i skate alone 99% of the time unfortunately, dont care enough to try and get pics and vid of the actual skating most times. maybe ill try and fix that sometime soon.

...a well deserved honor. s turns is a pretty amazing and consistent break, sad to say ive only surfed it a handful of times.
