I figured someone would've posted pics of the race by now, so here's a few that I took. The race was a HUGE success for Beech Mtn Resort. So many people came despite the rainy crappy weather the first couple days. Saturday and Sunday turned out to be beautiful days and the rain held off till nighttime.

I spent Sat and Sun mostly drunk thanks to the Brew's N View's Beer Tasting and my purse full of flasks, so I didn't get too many pics, but here's the best ones I got!

The start

Looking up at the Dual Slalom course

The band getting set up, not sure which band was first

Where my friends and I spent the majority of our time

Blurry pic but we kept those glasses full :)

TONS of people watching the Dual Slalom

People watching from the trees lol

Best. Doughnuts. Ever.

Rock Garden. So gnarly!

I was there on Sat. Spent most of the day in the beer tent. Had to sample all of them. Hope Beech will continue to have events like this. My gf took some pics:

its funny to see how the tracks weave through the trails at the same "cut throughs" i use during the season, and i use that term loosely:cool:

Nice! Looks like a awesome race, wish I could have made it up there.

If you are in the area, check out the Paris Mountain Downhill Race this November 13th.
