The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

It is official! I have been on my board, on REAL SNOW....and I'm as stupidly stoked about it now as I have been for the last year+! (no, it's not a full-fledged trip downhill, but it's a start)

Drove up to Cat on Saturday -- there was NO WAY I wasn't going to hit the snow on Pass Picture Day!

About 2/3 up Fie Top Road:

$20 for group lesson, got 2 hours private since nobody else was on the learning curve:

The coverage looked good, but so much sun during the day I didn't have high hopes going back on Sunday...

Tom did a fantastic job with the lessons....I successfully completed a toe-side j-turn, managed to stay off my arse, and only slipped about 2 or 3 times

(Scuba if I'd known who you were, I would've made a point to say hello! -- saw the patrol group doing whatever behind the lift over there)

A little bit of lift line going on...and you can see the coverage thinning out

I was more concentrated on learning than photo op'ing....left the GoPro in the Bimmer. LOL

This probably belongs in the Beer Count thread, but oh well it's my TR:

A little post-riding scenery going back down Fie Top:

Yep - the Fun.Kink is officially stickered!

...and while I'm here, sharing my awesome new stomp pad from Skis & Tees...hahah love this little Lib guy!

...and I broke down & bought new boots....BOA versus laces is amazing (when I don't have strong grip to lace properly, thanks nerve damage)...these are so so so comfy

More to come next weekend!!!

The end! :>)

Man, my Copper pass looks like 20 year old crap compared to that Cat pass.
