I only caught it at the tail-end but I'll post up some stuff I got. GREAT to see people, wish there'd been more present.

I started in Canaan and I will post a separate report about that,... but I left the C.Valley at about 12:30 Saturday and got to my lodging (bless them). Down the path, so bare after Canaan where I had been deep in the trees

And the line -- 25 min. all these ridiculous passes are killing us. Next season they may start charging for general parking at Top of the world as they did this year at silver creek-- $20 bucks there

Anyway I made some great runs wiped out hard on widowmaker and made my way to night skiing---

so crowded, I made two runs then shuttled to the meet up at Hoots. Very Fun, esp. glad to meet new (to me) people like Spydee and his wife, and people I haven't seen in a while like Bazinga

This morning I coincidentally was in liftline with most of the crew from rimfire so we made turns till the fog and rain set in. We're talkin' the Captain, the Clemson Keri's, Bultaco, ODB, Baxter; not a bad group--

Good showing ladies and Gents, it's worth it. And may I say in closing that I want Captain America to perform at my next event

Sorry I didn't make it. Those crowds looked absurd!

Sometime, would have enjoyed meeting you -- the crowds are absurd, it's holiday weekend every weekend it seems. I payed for my ridiculous pass with some trepidation for next year, esp. considering my previous days at Canaan

By the way, even though I was against it this time,I think a well planned summit at Canaan and Timberline should be the plan next year

Even with the Ridiculous lines we got in many many awesome turns... great weekend! Ski right onto Flying Eagle all afternoon... stay away from Ballhooter at all costs after 10:30am on Saturday. With that said, I didn't renew our passes for next year... barely break even on them this year and used 1st day at Wisp, ha! I'll 2nd Tline/CV for next season. With the small group we had this year, a house the CV or Tline lodge would work fine. If we get interest up to 100+ then maybe rethink but 20-30 at CV is more than doable.

I hate that I missed the summit (again). I'm so sick of saying "I'll make it next year" so I won't even bother making empty promises. But I do wish I could have been there. It looks like so much fun. I was really stoked about a CV/TL summit and hope that can be arranged next year.

Was my first summit and won't be my last! Everybody was so welcoming, such a great group of folks. Yeah lines got deep on Sat, even in WT, but it beat staying home. Capt made the good call to move to SC around noon and we lapped the soaring eagle area without lines for remainder of the day. Lots of good entertainment sat eve at Hoots. I only got a couple hours of skiing in Sun morn then had to leave because the of the incoming storm. 5 miles from home the sleet started...pulled into my driveway with 3" of pow (ok it was heavy wet stuff)! Shoveled that off and woke up today with another 4" of real pow.

Well worth the drive. Props to all who sat through the karaoke on Saturday! Good pics David.
