Made the usual day-trip to the 'shoe yesterday to take my new Soul7s out on their maiden voyage. First trial of my Sony action cam also. I left the house at 630am with 2degF and never saw it go above 9deg until about 10 miles from SS...weird early inversion. It was about 20 deg once I arrived at Top of World parking - 830am. Spent all morning lapping Cupp & Upper Shays (lower not open). They dropped the rope on upper Shays for the season at about 10am. My first video post....

The snow was good for what they've had to work with. Some soft stuff on the sides. The lack of pow wasn't the best conditions for the Soul7s but I just got tired of waiting. I am please how well they did...they are so light.

Crowds started in around 1130, especially at the Cupp/Shays merge, so I headed to the front side and switched from video to interval pic mode (pic every 2 seconds). Got some good runs off Grabhammer lift but battery died. Swapped for new one then went to Soaring Eagle.

Nothing too exciting, but that's what you gotta expect so far this season.

Cool pics and video, I can vouch for the inversion...left out of the shoe at 0830 with about 19F up top and stayed in single digits most of the way back towards lewisburg. Still warmer than the negative temps I arrived to on thurs with some pretty insane wind.
