Skiing was pretty good at Mnut today, 2/27. Warmed up to the low 40s but never got slushy. Place was busy with plenty of season pass holders around. Plus the folks who came for the SARA races going on this weekend on DJ in the mornings.
New snow on most trails helped. Especially on the MakAttack bumps once the snow softened.
The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard
The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

Makattack is hard on my knees but fun.good moguls for sure. They blew snow Thursday and Friday night .

Answering Roy's question about driving from Massanutten to Wintergreen . . . it takes about an hour depending on traffic on the 2-lane roads. The back way is shorter but more mountain curves so I prefer to take US250 to RT151. An easy drive under normal circumstances. But if it's snowing, then the road up to Wintergreen can be slippery. Since Wintergreen is an upside-down ski area, have to drive to the top of the mountain.
