The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

CO isn't completely screwed, yet?

This is the spot to post your trail and trip reports. Please notify [email protected] when you do so that we can feature the better ones on the front of the website.

We sure could use lots of snow here in summit county before the christmas break. It could get ugly out there with out it!

Next time you guys go sledding up there and want a photog or two to come along, hit me up. I'd love to shoot up there.

I will totally do that (I'm not much of a photographer)! When we ever get more snow we will go again, it's a cool area. I've skied it early season when you could still drive up the road but never on a sled. I ski Butler Gultch every now and then but the terrian isn't as good for the walk. If your down to ride in, park, then skin there are some great spots from what I saw. On another note, I may go down to W.C. on Sunday night and ski Monday if I can get clearance from the wife, having a 4 month old will dictate the results but maybe? If the third storm coming in were to favor the south agian I will rally hard for a pass.

I'll be out of town this weekend through Wednesday, so it's probably going to snow. :)

I've skied the Jones Pass area a couple times (skinning in) and like what I see. I'll definitely be back there this year once we get some more snow.
