The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard
The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.
We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.
We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Yes they were the same weekend, but if I knew there were sweet new jerseys with SkiNC/Southeast on them...I would have opted for the MS150 ride

So here we go children.
As a background info. - I started the journey some 6 months ago at the Snowshoe Summit.
The mild mannered lady in the middle caught me in a moment of excessive alcohol consumption and asked me to ride in the Tour to Tanglewood. Before I had time to recover I was signed up and headed for 100 miles of riding goodness.
So on a beautiful September day I packed up my bike and courage and off I went to NC. I was met @ Pink and Bultacco's house by the greeting committee
Saturday morning came quick. We arrived to the site of thousands of cars.
The site of all the riders was sort of poetic
Bultacco and Pink and Tim getting ready with some of the crew
So we rode off for 50 fun filled miles. The MS folk have not posted road photos yet but I will post them when I can. The terrain was really similar to North Fl so it was not too scary. The miles rolled along and other than a flat tire I really enjoyed the ride. I cannot thank the MS folks enough for the incredible organization. Everything you could think of was on hand.
Well after the ride we re-hydrated with the proper combination of adult beverages and basically had a great time
Did I mention the massage therapist we had on hand?
Old School Never Dies...
Robster Craws Rule!
Sunday was a great ride as well, maybe more so. The weather held long enough for us to get in the full 50. It started raining less than 30 minutes after we rolled in. All in all it was a wondrous journey. I want to thank Frances (SkiPink) and Keith (Bultacco) for hosting me and for all of the fellowship you shared. I cannot express my gratitude enough.
Finally to all of my SkiNC friends, NEXT YEAR YOU NEED TO RIDE!
NO JERSEYS FOR FREE! YOU GOTTA EARN IT!
