Where you on the Sewanee bus up there a couple weeks back?
Yep. I arrange a sweet weekend trip to Boone every year. The benefit for me is that if I lead the trip, I don't have to pay a dime. Instant $250 dollar savings. Plus, to top it all off, our outing program director had such a good time this year that he wants me to get a slopeside house for next year so we can ski in and out.

These are the type of threads this place exists for. Im loving all the youtubes that people just "slapped together" which are actually carefully planned excursions where most folks on the mtns dare not go. Cheers!

I use the VIO POV 1 with a goggle mount.. If I had to do it over again I would get the GoPro HD cam that shoots in 1080p, hopefully VIO will come out with a hd cam, cause I really don't like the way the GoPro's are designed.

Kodak is coming out with their cam that shoots 1080p and is waterproof. Playsport. Only $150 and has image stabilization too.

2 things:
~~~~~~
1. Somebody needs to thin out those lip splitters. Highly recommend visiting Lowes before the next El Nino season. (Hopefully next year, and more in March this year). Cut em off at the ground. A tiny hatchet is probably the tool for the job.
2. Is there a safety shack in those woods yet? If not, see #1.
