We love Disney and go pretty much every year...sometimes multiple times a year. We seriously considered buying into DVC at one point, but a few things stopped us. We really like the campground and prefer to stay there over any premium resort. Also, using DVC points for the campground is hard to do and isn't a great value over just paying out of pocket. For us it made more sense to put the $ into a camper. That way we can use it anytime we want, no black out dates, etc, etc.
Bronco, any Nikon F mount will work on any Nikon dslr. Although depending on the body and the lens used, you may lose autofocus and/or metering. The higher end bodies will not have a problem using the older lenses.
How do you like camping at Disney? To put it simply, I am in the process of changing careers at the moment and for the next 2 or 3 years I will probably be making more money then I will know what to do with (if I dont blow it on a corvette or too much camera equipment). I plan on buying a truck around March or April, one thought I had was to buy a larger truck than I planned and eventually buy a camper, but camping at Disney wasn't something I ever thought about. But a camper could be great for trips to Disney and Cades Cove.
The new job/career is also one reason I thought about buying into the DVC. It would be easier for me to do it now before I buy a home, get married, accidental kids, etc.

Posting a few more photos. Most from a tour we took of their train facility.

Next week is our annual trip from DC. Drive? LOL LOL R U krazy! We get two bedrooms on the AutoTrain both ways (me & sister). Happy Hour, sitdown dinner w/table clothes and menus/movie/bed/breakfast, and we're there! Swing thru Winter Park for lunch. Always stay at the Hawthorn Suites (we're related...but I need my space!) for only $67/night in Lake Buena Vista, just down from Downtown Disney. There's no bargains at Disney, but I get the SeaWorld, Bush Gardens, Aquatic 14-day unlimited in & out pass for $109...and the unlimited Universal pass. The secret is Veterans Day-to-Thanksgiving. No (nada, none) crowds or lines in any park...no kids either. Did Spiderman (normal 1 hr wait) round & round til I was dizzy. Got on rides as fast as I could run from the exit back to the empty front!!! Also, book Disney dinner in advance, we're doing the routine Animal Kingdom and Polynesian twice and Grand Floridian for breakfast. Calls for 82 and sunny next week. Oh, live in MD and for 2 years shared a house in Lauderdale and commuted every week. Spirit still has the $9 DCA-to-FLL flights.

Great pictures! We went to Disney at the end of September. It is pricey! We did the Vacation Club thing too. Not quiet sold on the total cost. The lady we had was pretty easy going. We went the last day of our trip. But, after a week at Disney with two kids she could probably tell we were not in the mood to be harassed.

Im thinking about it pretty hard. If I were ever to buy a timeshare it would be something like there where I had a little freedom as to what I do, when I do it, and where I do it. I also liked the idea of using some points to do a weekend at Hilton head.

Here are some more. One thing I love about Disney is their theming and decorations, if I am going to stand in line for a ride I want something interesting to look at.

^^^ The Epcot globe zoom shot is very cool. The one before it could easily be a stock photo- strong work!

Yea, we thought about that too. We stopped at Jekyll Island for a couple days on or way to Disney, just south of Hilton Head. Plus, there are a couple places in NC that you could use. (Grove Park and a couple others) Once again awesome pictures! C...
