I took a lesson and instructors were great. They work with X-Games athletes so they know all the latest tricks. The progression from the tumbling floor, to the trampolines, to the ramp, really helped. The trampolines were almost as much fun as the ramp. They have Olympic Flybed trampolines that you could jump about 10+ feet up as opposed to 5 feet up on your normal backyard trampoline. And you could jump from trampoline to trampoline and bonk off the padded walls or into a foam pit. They had a trampoline mini snowboard you could strap on and jump on the trampolines. Make sure you check the drop-in schedule and make an appointment, usually only on Saturdays. The foam pit is uber soft. I was flipping and twisting with no regard for injury. My neck was a little sore, that was it. They teach you how to fall. The foam is a little dusty. You have to be able to ski/board Snowflex good enough to be in control so you don't crash approaching the ramp. The run-in is 35 ft. tall and about 30+ degrees steep. Most advanced+ skiers have no trouble, snowboarders may. Don't check your speed approaching the ramp, the run-in won't ever be too fast.

don't wanna derail this thread, but ill bite.
as a general rule of thumb, if you are excited to learn to "be able to do tricks off jumps" which to me implies that you currently are not able to do any, it comes as a surprise in my mind that your first trick to learn would be a backflip. i guess thats what my yikes was implying, but what do i know... if thats your plan then wear a helmet and send it!

Maybe I should have worded it better... I cant wait to learn how to do inverts/spins off of jumps. I have no problem hitting any jumps in the park, minus the superpipe. I've just never had the balls to actually do any spins in the air. And that would be the next logical progression for me, wouldn't you think?
@Superwill
Are you driving out to Tahoe? Unless you are, Copper is nowheres near in the same area as Tahoe.
