yep been skiing with kristin a good bit and I met and skied with some mags, Lonestar and SheRa. Highboi was insane to say the least. Huuugge junkshow. I'm leaving today, possibly tomorrow. I might ski a day at abasin or loveland sometime this week.

Looks like both A-Basin and LL should be good this week... 15-20" in the last few days with more coming tomorrow and Wednesday.

I noticed that too, pretty cool! We're probably going to visit LL or A-Basin when we fly into town for interviews/housing in a few weeks to checkout the place. No on snow fun unfortunately.

dude, have you not had enough by now? 32 weeks is not very long.

moab == awesome. poison spider bike shop! between the biking, the river, and the mountains one could be happy there a long time. just a long damn drive from anywhere.

actually, between CO and UT, its hard to go wrong for a few weeks.

Go to Loveland... 9" overnight and another 6-10" today. Depending on my work schedule, I might try to get up there in the morning.

I have had a lot of good skiing this season. one last balls deep day would have been nice. I know what the skiing is like at Alta when they report 20" overnight. Its more or less life changing

I'm saying this because I just got back from Canyonlands NP (and Arches, but I've been there before) outside of Moab and it's one of the coolest places I've ever seen. There's something about it that I just can't describe... similar to Arches and Bryce.

TR to come shortly, obviously.

I definitely hear ya KD. Last year we made a MTB trip out that way and visited Canyonlands and Arches while in the Moab area and then spent a day in Bryce. I'm still really interested in visiting all the other ridiculously beautiful Nat parks (and seeing the ones i've been to before again since you can't experience the whole park without a few days to spend). However I was kinda planning on holding off on that until a later trip between summer and fall. I was gonna make this trip a full-on end of season, yard-sale, hucktackular, no regrets no holds barred, kinda ski trip with lots of partying. :D

Heck, I'm happy with 10" of powder in-bounds at Alta! :D

Have a safe trip home whenever you finally run out of fresh snow!
2023-24: Wolf Creek in Dec, Massanutten in Jan, Feb; GT, Big Sky; Crested Butte; Alta/Snowbird in April.
