Let's see, there's maybe 15 to 20 of you complaining about Sugar again. Hmmmm, I don't think that 20 of you will make a dent in the bottom line by not going there. They could give a crap about you guys, half of Florida is going to come and keep them in business. And calling the authorities like the attorney general and the like? I don't think I have read that there was a Sugar rep at the ticket window holding a gun to your heads to force you to buy the ticket, right? Just go on past to Beech and pay more per acre of terrain that is open if that would make you happy. I don't think anything makes the Sugar hater club happy though. I could care less where I ski, but all this whining, geeessshh!!

I don't know what you guys are talking about, Sugar has always had the best business practices!! I know I haven't been there in 2 years but they advertised being open to the top with a 10" minimum base and look what I found when I got there:
Slope left
Slope right
This was our first run of the day and we got there at 9:00. At the ticket window they said they had just opened the top that morning. Just outside of the frame of the slope right picture was a connecting strip of snow literally as wide as my board that was shoveled into place.
Lesson I learned don't go back if you don't trust the place to be honest. I knew not to trust sugar and only went because it was preseason and during the week so Cat was closed and they were the only two places operating. I took a risk, got screwed, rode all day anyway and had a blast with my friends. Big deal. Posted a TR about it and guess what didn't change a thing of their business practices or make a dent in the number of customers. What is the point of complaining here, if Gunther doesn't care what his customers think. I know some of the other resorts actually pay attention to here and it has made a difference, but those resorts actually care about their customers. It's pointless, but I do find it to be good entertainment watching everyone get rilled up over it.
