After a week of Turkey consumption in TN and some great weather and hikes there I made it back out to CO and found some good runs on Berthoud.

How was coverage up there? I've heard it's pretty thin, but those pics make it look OK.

Certainly ok enough to stretch the legs and hike up for a quick lap or 5

Nice -- keep on posting
I am so torn -- due to fly in for a week the 7-14, have a lot of possibilities for cheap early season inbounds and the passes are definately skiable, and it will be a full moon, but the forecast looks grim till then ... probly I'll cancel, I can still find deals mid-season

Coverage isn't the best I've seen this time of year but it's not that bad either if your willing to do a little walking. I only hit one rock the entire day so can't really complain. I haven't been to the resort yet, until they open about 50% or more I'll just stick to walking, it's a good workout. Davidski, it does look a little bleak for that time but the next few storms could be either good or bad from what I'm reading, it's a crap shoot. All in all I've had some good turns thus far but we need more, maybe by mid Dec we will get a nice storm or two to build up the base. It looks like it's supposed to get cold there for the next couple of days maybe snowmaking is in the future?

It's all good not alot of secrets on the top of Berthoud just alot of people with no sense the majority of the time. Although, I was suprised that the parking lot was only about a quarter full when we left at noon on Sunday. Those pics are from the roll and I think a place called hidden knoll? I usually skin in and ski in the pull offs from Current to 0 creek but with the early season suck snow we hit the top for some quick laps and it was pretty good. I'm going out again this weekend, maybe Dry Gultch Sat. depending on snow for something different?
