After reports from yesterday I didn't know what to expect. It was really fun though. The snow conditions were variable but hell, that should be expected at this time of year and especially with the weather we've had lately. It's really annoying to hear people complaining about snow guns and ice blah blah blah. Get over it, we're in the Southeast people.

A cool pic with a rainbow.

There were a few pockets of manmade powder in the morning.

In the midst of spinning around, but you can see the good snow in this pic.

Nothing special, but shows the good coverage at the bottom.

just wanted to chime in and add how empty it was out there. never waited for a single chair today. probably because they were charging 60 bucks on a day when the only 1/4 of the mountain that was open was under 100% snowmaking.

i had a blast though. cheesebrats and oil jibs

I feel u guys with the wallet pain... My bro, g/f, and I hit Sugar today specifically for the demos. It was the full 66$, but WTH? I wasn't gonna gouge my own skis up top. It really wasn't bad though. Conditions were damn good, as far as one can take it w/ 100% man made granular. They killed the guns at the base, but the guns on the top were kicking. It didnt bother me that much at all though. Hell, I rocked sunglasses all day.

Sorry no pic's, I didnt feel like It would be much of a trip report. I basically made a run or 2 on the 2012 sticks, and switched out for something else.

The woman actually bought some skis she demoed. (K2 super free), or something like that.

All in all it was a damn good day. I feel I def got my 66$ worth because of all the skis I got to punish. ( its not drive it like u stole it. It's like ride them B's like it aint yours, and no one cares what kind of "testing you put em through" lol) MF I'm sure I did way more than 66$ worth of damage to all those skis, LOL :>)

(disclaimer)

I did not intentionally damage any ski, I am merely speaking of the circumstances that where available to me.
