Met up with TGR's Daywalker today to ride Devil's Backbone up in Loveland, probably one last time before its full-on skiing. The trail is so much fun, with a nice mix of tech and smoove flowy goodness... on to the pics:

Up first, a nice little staircase, made to look easy by Daywalker:

Climbing to the good stuff:

Hmmm... more tech on the way:

Up and over the ridge, it opens up to a sweet valley:

And we get to haul *** down for a while:

Me in red, riding the good stuff:

Daywalker, feeling the flow:

Yep, it was a fun little trail:

It keeps going down....

Up another climb, and down some more flow:

The trail is very well built and maintained:

Couple random cottonwoods in the middle of nowhere:

On the way back, more downhill fun. It was a little rocky:

Daywalker finishing up, with the Devil's Backbone in the background:

Baller. How much longer until most of the front range trails are unrideable?

Nice pics. Looks like you guys had a blast.

My slacking on buying a bike might have been a good thing. Now I can wait for all the Front Rangers to throw their bikes on CL and pick one up at a killer deal.

Some serious riding is in store for me next late Spring/Summer.

The FR trails are almost never unrideable, unless we get a big storm. If you're willing to ride when its in the 30's, you can ride just about year round on a few of the trails.

About 12-13 miles... with options up there for at least 10-15 more.

With the warmer temps coming this weekend, chances are this wasn't the last ride of the season after all.

I lied.... I biked twice more this week, with more rides in the next few days too.

Snow already!
