So here it is a beautiful day, so I decided to take a quick drive to Wolf Ridge to see how they are doing being blessed with this early snowfall. What I found is below. It was 35 degrees at the base and around 33 at the top at around 12:30pm. And of course they were making no snow I could find.

This is the beautiful day view from my office that lead me on my journey.

This was the beautiful drive up the interstate! Notice the fast moving white lines!

Anticipation grows.

The connector called "Wolf Ridge" and some cabins taken from the lodge at the top.

Of course Wolf's main focus, more cabins.

View looking down into upper and lower streak. (once again no snowmaking although it looks like they made an effort at some point.) +1

Shameless self shot of me on Viewfinder. Notice I have not been arrested yet.

Looking down into the terrain park standing on the tunnel. No snowmaking yet.

I think this looks like a new sign. It may have been up last year, but; I was out of the season early due to injury and did not make it to Wolf.

View of the slopes from the lodge. Whatever they were burning sure smelled wierd. And I did not get arrested.

Has thanked: 1 time

Looks like Wolf has potential. Just needs some expertise running the show.

This week was too good to miss out on snow making. Good time to build a base.

I was so expecting to see a couple of people in Carhart coveralls standing next to the maintenance building and not a picture of the lodge chimney when I read that.

They were all in the lodge, there was a pungent smell, and when I looked for smoke this is all i could find. I wasnt about to bust into the lodge and get jumped. Carharts are rough.:D

Man, this is such a shame. I really like that place, yet I did not go once last year. I hope they get things rolling in a hurry, as I would really like to head up there again this season.

Excellent work Froman, covert operations to the Wolf are few and far between.

I need to ski the Wolf (never have before), just so I can get the full experience of the place.

Definitely could be something great. Lots of great terrain and some good ideas, I wish they would make it happen. Maybe they still will.

As for the covert ops I do what I can, however; I think the picture of myself and the date stamps are kind of a give away to my guilt.
