The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

The temperatures have dropped.

The snow has fallen.

The groomers have been hard at work.

THE GREEN HORNET HAS RETURNED.

My GF and I headed up to Snowshoe today for a morning session- we only stayed a few hours after open, because the crowds were starting to get intense. Everyone was getting funneled to the Ballhooter lift, which, other than skidder, was the only lift open. They were making a ton of snow on the rest of the mountain, and should be able to open quickly.

I apologize in advance for the shameless photo-sluttiness in this TR. This is what happens when its just you and the photog. Come skiing with me AND IT COULD BE YOU!!!

Bluebird skies and well-groomed snow...

Lotsa snowmaking going on...

A sighting...

Looking like mid-season:

This area was fun to fool around in- chalky variable snow, and a nice little lip at the top:

Up and away...

Incoming...

Still snowmaking going on in the background...

I just really like this shot....

Till we meet again....GREEN HORNET OUT.

Is that a duck blind or something out on the slope?
