The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard
The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.
We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

This TR has been a big let down. I really expected more from SKISC.

The much awaited TR: Cataloochee 11/26
In preparations for the Thanksgiving holiday I took a much needed day off to get out and ski with the boys. The plan was to meet up with SKISC and GreshamB at Cat for the day. We all got up there about an hour and a half early. I got my season pass pic made and we waxed four pairs of skis out on the balcony outside the lodge.We also ran into SkiMastercraft while we were there.

The first thing I noticed about SKISC was his ***gotty hat. Cat was in great shape 3/4 open to Rock Island and Lower Snowbird.
Is that Pippi Longstockings or SKISC?

Apparently SKISC has no medical training but he is willing to try.

After much heckling SKISC decided to change hats. Maybe the toboggan wasn't the only thing that was ***gotty.
After a few libations, SKISC was ready for some telemark lessons.

No, when you drop into the telemark stance keep your knees closer together.

Apparently not, because somewhere along the way SKISC fell into a giant pile of glowing kryptonite.
Oh, and did I mention that one lane road construction on I-40 westbound on Thanksgiving eve SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS!!! 6 mile backup.
