So I went up to Cataloochee after my classes in Chattanooga to get some snowboarding in last week and was greeted to a beautiful day. Temperatures were in the 40's and only a light wind was blowing that day. The snow was nice and soft and easy to carve and conditions could not have been better. Lower Omigosh had some choppy spots (if that is even a useable term) that were hard to traverse but that is just me trying to find something to criticize. Lines were mostly light with all the slopes open; Even with the lower lot totally full and upper half full around 1pm. It was my first time experiencing turkey trot and short and sweet and they were very nice. Turkey Trot was very open and would be an excellent spot to put down some rails or boxes. I believe it would be an awesome place and I wouldnt be suprised if someone decides to put something in that area. Unfortunetly I forgot to take pics of turkey trot and short n' sweet but I got others. Here they are!
