The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

We may never leave after today. Out here with my two oldest for the NSP conference. 24" last night with another 36" expected through tomorrow and more on Friday. No pics today except one of the tram at lunch. Hopefully some action shots tomorrow. Demo'd some Solly rockered skis today that were amazing. Here's a couple of Snow basin yesterday which was miserable with rain up to first half of the mountain then graupel and snow at the top. Top third had about 8" of new and was fun.

Nice to be in the Gondola

Looking at the top of the Needles Express

Only shot today

Will get some more photos tomorrow and Friday.... Oh and honey don't worry we're coming home :)

Continued with the week. Unfortunately we didn't get the up to 36" of snow on Thursday but did get 7" of drier snow.

Woke up to Bluebird skies, unfortunately for me I sheared a pin the day before on my season old BD Factor boots and had to drive to Black Diamond in Salt Lake for parts:( The kids said it was the best skiing of the week. By the time I got on the mountain the sun had baked the new snow, but we still did laps all afternoon on the Little Cloud chair until a whiteout forced us lower.

Friday loomed cold and windy, some powder could still be foind in the upper mountain trees but everything had turned solid down below over night.

Mandatory lift line shot off of Peruvian

My 12 year old in the trees

My park rat finding he "likes powder better than the park":)

and in the air

Watching the patrollers competition

Buddies of mine from PA ended up getting third place

A great week, still haven't come to the realization that's it until next fall. Anybody have a few grand to lend me for South America?

I don't know, by the looks of how he handled the powder today I think I've converted him.

Say hey to any of the Ober crew if you run into them; Tom M., Dave C., especially.

Tell Tony T. and his wife Carla, I said hello. Tell Larry B. that I said he still sucks.
