My wife and I stayed in Breckenridge and went to Breck 4 days and Vail for 1 day. Great trip overall. Snow was plentiful and crowds non-existent. I will put the final week at Breck on my calendar for next year. Here are the pics:

Breckenridge

Terrain Park at Breck (that's not me, I took the photo)

Went to Vail on Wed April 15 - great day

On the Catwalk to Blue Sky Basin at Vail

Breckenridge - Peak 8 base - they are doing construction at both Peak 7 & 8.

Mandatory Lift shot - 10+ inches of powder on our final day

Powder Day! This was my first time in 10+ inches of powder. Wow.

Pow Pow - awesome morning.

Deep Powder - Where did my feet go?

Sweet powder - I miss it already.

This is what I-70 looked like on Fri April 17. We barely made it out before the highway was closed. Left Breck at 12:30 - arrived at Denver Airport area at 4:30. We missed our flight, but it was a great trip.

Nice TR. You got to drive I-70 in possibly the worst conditions all year. Glad to hear you made it through- I was probably right behind you coming home from Loveland.

I had never driven in those kind of crazy driving conditions. But I loved the snow...riding in it, driving in it, sitting the hot tub with it, looking out a window and watching it fall, etc.

Nice pics- I'm assuming the brown is from the dust layer that fell?
