Harper's Ferry is a beautiful little town at the very tip of the WV panhandle, about an hour outside of DC. There is a bunch of really good bouldering to be done just out of town, but first we had to cross some tracks to get there...

My bouldering pad comes with legs:

The cool thing about bouldering is that its pretty low key. You don't need and epic face of rock to build strength- its all about exploring the smaller elements of one face. Warming up:

I worked this short little traverse most of the time, utilizing different foot placements, etc:

Up over the edge...

Good TR

bouldering is fun.

when i was at UNCC i used to go bouldering and climbing at crowders mtn all the time.

come to think of it i used to do a lot of things back in those days.

i have a pilots license (single engine land),mtn bike, scuba gear, golf clubs, and kayak all gathering dust.

i guess skiing is the one thing i have stayed into.
