TR: The Capitol (interior, that is)

My grandparents lived up here in DC for a majority of my childhood, so we were here 3-4 times a year. Still, with all of that visiting, I had never actually been to the US Capitol building, just seen it from the rest of the national mall.



With a new visitor's center opened last year, we figured a day where is was in the mid 90's and very humid with tstorms rolling through would be a good one to visit. The funny part? I have no pictures of the outside of the building. Only the inside.
