there's not much natural snow in the summit county resort area right now---copper, breck, keystone, vail, a basin---we keep getting the infamous n.c.dustings---the snowmaking is most impressive though---everywhere is open---but terrain is limited----22 foot superpipe at copper is something to behold---check it out at coppercolorado.com on the webcam---all the pro snowboarders are there gearing up for the gran prix---one of the premier events of the season---lindsea lumpkin is there and was invited to compete in the junior jam on dec. 12th---it airs on nbc the 13th at 2:30pm---she is a product of beech mountain's kids learning center---and---has become a 2 time national champion----medalled in 15 of 24 starts at usasa national championships and has won the aspen and rocky mountain series---she's a whopping 12 years old---check us out if you plan to come [email protected]

I'm getting worried that my days in Colorado over xmas are going to consist of an insanely crowded array of 12-15 green and blue runs and that is all.

Don't fear. There's some potentially big storms lining up this weekend and next week, and once the snow starts early in the season, sometimes it doesn't stop for a while.



Xmas should be fine- that's three weeks away.

second that. it is pretty cool that a kid from the south can go and compete out west. i have seen her beech and sugar a few times.

Doubtful I'll make Aspen this year man.... hoping to make Stratton for the east coast session..... you going to be riding NC at all?

Just made plans to meet my brother in Grand Junction on Dec. 17th and then head to Aspen area on the 18th first time skiing in colorado you guys still going to be out there?

i'm there 12/10---12/15----again from 12/21 to 01/04---etc. etc----be there any during those times ?? we are either at breck or copper---depends on lindsea's coach's decision---hit me back if you can hookup !!! lindsea is there straight through---anything in nc worth riding yet ??
