Got up early,my sons had games and plans etc., so I was on my own

First day of the season and I was glad that I made it Beech -- here's a morning photostitch

Beech still has death cookies but you have to find them , an improvement from not being able to avoid them

I loved it today, the quad was running , the edges had soft snow kicked off from the middle

and this is a typical shot of the lift line -- no joke, I skiied on every time and only paused because sometimes I wanted to ride up with someone else

It was very, very cold; due to high winds more than temps. Here's the top (you shake that hut and patrollers will fall out by the dozens) --

I have NEVER seen so many patrollers in one place at one time, perhaps they could help set this up

Anyway, parting shot -- thanks Beech, I'm glad my season's started.

Nice pics, I hope to make it up to Beech on Fri. 12/18 if weather permitting. My son and I will probably hit the night session after work.

Thanks for the pics. It was more crowded and less windy at Sugar Sat morning. I was there because of the demo tents. But I really missed a high speed quad!

well thanks--

Marzski -- I will not do sugar again-- dead serious-- not because of all the stuff on the board but because I really do not like what they do (charging full price when half open IN FRONT of the holidays) Beech charged $30 bucks for the same half mountain WITH a high-speed quad

The only reason I go to Sugar is for the demo tents during SugarFest. This time a friend came, so Marz Jr. could hang out with her while I tested out stuff for a few hours. They enjoyed watching the Olympic ice skater. If Beech or Wintergreen had a comparable demo day in early Dec, I'd never be at Sugar either. Not going to drive to Snowshoe to demo there since that's not exactly a cheap lift ticket.
