Props to them....assuming it wasn't only because the cats were plowing the roads and lots.

BTW, if you upload to photobucket (or other service) and copy the IMG code it makes TR viewing much nicer.

They regroomed the crosstrails at about 8:30-9:15 and opened a few minutes late.We were worried when we saw them go back out , but they just groomed a path down to ballhooter and didn't touch the good stuff.

Huge props to snowshoe mountain. .They dropped some ropes on some ungroomed slopes with natural snow today .It all started on J-hook .... gave us about 45 minutes to track it .Then when I got off the soaring eagle express to see this.... Right on time!!!THEY OPENED SAWMILL AND SAWMILL GLADES WITH KNEE DEEP POW.It was all time .What got me was how they gave us just long enough to track up j- hook and then proceeded to opening sawmill. Good work guys!!

Looks like my 4 day solo journey to 4848 will conclude today.A buddy from the outer banks arrived this morning so I look forward to taking him to the goods on my last day. Unfortunately my camera took a spill fri. night down the stairs and the LCD screen cracked and went blank. It's been basically point and guess. I have no idea what settings my camera has been on or how many pics remain on my card.Got some pics, but simply getting on it and the memories of this epic storm will never be forgotten and are what matter most to me. Nice meeting you Davidski ,and taking turns with you fri night and (especially sat morning for 1st tracks in that deep stuff) Wish I could of caught up with you JMoney . Hopefully next time.Moderate snow is falling again now, looks like we got a little something over night to freshen everything up.!
